LRC VOlunteering
Westbrook’s library, or Learning Resource Center (LRC), is always looking for volunteers. Get to know Westbrook teachers, staff, and students, all while freeing up the LRC staff to do what they do best; teach and assist our kids!
This is the perfect opportunity for parents to get involved without a big time commitment. Volunteer as much or as little as you can. All help is appreciated.
Volunteers in the LRC have the opportunity to read aloud to students, assist with special projects, and help the librarians with shelving and book check-out.

Special lunch
Once a month, beginning in October, the PTO coordinates a “Special Lunch” for first grade students. Families have the option to purchase a special lunch from an outside food vendor (Tortorice’s Pizza, Dairy Queen, etc) for their student. Volunteers are needed to help organize and distribute the lunches on the day of.
